Safeguarding our natural heritage, is the challenge that falls each day Noah Conservation. Some institutions, corporations, associations and individuals join Noah, still more to help… So why not you?

The current erosion of biodiversity, the disappearance of thousands of species of plants and animals, destruction of natural habitats due to human activities, and finally the degradation of our everyday environment are not acceptable, both for reasons ethical and moral because it goes against the general interest and welfare of mankind. Indeed, we live daily through biodiversity! Biodiversity and humanity, our lives are linked.

A necessary mobilization
According to scientists, 1 to 2 living species could disappear before the end of the twenty-first century… Given the acceleration of the phenomenon of environmental degradation on the planet and the urgent need to mobilize, Noah Conservation Association was founded in 2001 with a major objective, protect biodiversity

Acting in a hurry and build the future
Save biodiversity is to act now to save thousands of species of plants and animals that may disappear. This field work in support of local actors, is the basis of the commitment of Noah Conservation. But they are also the attitudes and patterns of consumption daily source of over-exploitation of natural resources, it is necessary to change! The conservation actions of Noah are always associated with advocacy and education for sustainable development.

A priority: the francophone
With a metropolitan area among the richest in Europe and a presence in all the oceans with communities overseas, France has a strong international responsibility to safeguard biodiversity. Moreover, it has woven historical ties with many countries in Africa and throughout the world who need support for the preservation of their natural heritage. Noah Conservation and development programmes Paris in Bissau, the Massif des Maures the banks of River Senegal…

A partnership approach
Noah Conservation acts as a catalyst and facilitator to bring projects, establish the conditions for their success and support local structures, close to the ground, so these actions are in the long term.

Among the activities of Noah Conservation:
* A project to safeguard the tortoise Hermann,
* An international exhibition,
* Presented in over 100 countries, an extensive survey along the African coast in search of the latest sawfish,
* A rescue operation of manatees,
* Senegal River or the program' Butterflies & Garden' launched in spring 2006 with the National Museum of Natural History and Nicolas Hulot Foundation for Nature and Man.

To contribute to safeguarding our natural heritage, is the challenge that falls each day Noah Conservation. Some institutions, corporations, associations and individuals join Noah, still more to help… So why not you?
